Teaming Up invests in the belief that every woman deserves a safe and healthy pregnancy and delivery. The ability to give life should be a gift for all women, not a hardship. By ensuring the right to good maternal health we can make big strides for gender equality and improve life for women in all capacities. Teaming Up leverages the values of women’s athletic teams, such as dedication, teamwork and achieving goals, to develop community engagement and philanthropic leadership. This project mobilizes support for global women’s health issues in an entirely unique way which addresses the need for greater political will and cross-cultural solidarity in the 21st century.
